About the event
The best way to connect to nature is to be totally immersed in it.
Learn the basics of backpacking, including what gear to carry, clothes to wear, and how to plan your own trip. Your guide, Becca Nenow, has been a backpacker since middle school and has hiked thousands of miles, including thru-hikes of the Appalachian Trail and Camino de Santiago. She has been a backpacking guide for 10+ years. Her goal is to get more people outside and connected to nature. These skills and knowledge translate to all areas of life and increase our sense of self-reliance. We'll also have freebies and a giveaway!
